Little is known about the early life of Samo Agravo but his later profession suggests that he was not well-to-do. By 80 BBY he had become associated with a new pirate group called the Glorious Fist, quickly rising to become its leader. For several years the operation stayed low-key but eventaully rose to the point of raiding Galactic Senators, causing concern for the Senate and involving the Jedi.
Sure enough, a Jedi task force was sent to eliminate the Glorious Fist but the ship was shot down by Samo's men. However, that wasn't the end of the Jedi as Tyrone Dooku, Mace Windu, Nioman Dokoora, and Sora Bulq escaped on escape pods and T'ra Saa stowed away on one of the pirate ships. The four younger Jedi soon entered the Glorious Fist HQ but Samo managed to evade their attempts at capturing him and soon had all four trapped in a cage. His victory was so close but them it all went wrong when T'ra Saa entered the scene, giving the others an opportunity to break free. Soon Tyrone Dooku had engaged Samo, who tried to defend himself but was no match for the Makashi Master and was slain. The Glorious Fist, however, manged to slowly rebuild itself and later came under the leadership of none other than former Jedi Nioman Dokoora.
